The Washington Reds

The Washington, DC ballfoot team was in the news again recently as they'd done a survey of some Native Americans and found that the Washington, DC team name was not considered offensive to the people for whom it's a racial slur. SO EVERYTHING IS JUST FINE!

A couple years ago I came up with this idea for a design and name change For the Washington, DC team. It keeps the Washington, DC colors and look of their mascot and makes a nod towards politics which is perfect for a team based in Washington, DC.

Fun With Utility Lines

A FaBoo friend posted a photo of a Portland, OR sunset through utility lines. As I had not already wasted enough time that day I created this with his photo.

Vance Creek Bridge, Washington State

Apparently this bridge is privately owned and falling apart, so doing what these folks did is not a good idea. But kudos to the film makers
for crediting the music used in the video...

Enlightened Landscaping

While working in my freind Paul's yard I was moving a small statue of Buddha around, trying to find a better spot for it. Everything I did seemed to be some sorta Buddhist saying...

When the Buddha is obscured seek another place for the Buddha.

The Buddha makes level his own resting place.

At the turn in the path you will find the Buddha.

Ants have made a home beneath the Buddha.

That last one doesn't seem so spiritual, but I'm sure someone could find inspiration in it.

Cat in Chefchaouen, Morocco

Thanks to people of the Internet largely not caring about giving proper attribution to art and photographs they share I couldn't pin down who took this photo of a cat in Chefchaouen, Morocco. It's possibly by Hans Silvester.
